Jonathan Latsky
Jonathan offers extensive experience in creating value in marketing services and technology companies and realizing that value through strategic exits. He began his career launching a company that offered custom databases to marketers, which he successfully sold. In 1991, he founded Syntony Marketing Inc., a database services company serving the North American direct marketing community. After six years of 100%+ annual growth, Syntony was sold to InfoUSA and Jonathan became Canadian President. In 2004, Jonathan acquired Uthink, an online marketing and market research company targeting the student demographic, which he sold in 2008. In the first two years, Uthink went from a loss to 7-figure profitability.
He served as Director of the Canadian Marketing Association, founded and chaired the CMA’s Marketing Technology and Database Intelligence Council, and served on the CMA’s Ethics and Privacy Committee. Jonathan has an MBA from Ivey and is a MaRS volunteer advisor, mentoring local entrepreneurs.
Jonathan has since turned his attention to helping fellow entrepreneurs with a focus on identifying, and bringing to a successful conclusion, mutually beneficial exits.
